The Saul Berson Quartet has developed a unique sound over the years delivering an uncommon approach to modern jazz, The Saul Berson Quartet lays down an engaging and impressive musical statement, (Edward Blanco, ejazznews) melding Middle-eastern overtones, Argentinean tango and jazz improvisation. Saul’s burnished tone has made him one Vancouver’s most sought-after alto players.  

The quartet’s three CDs, From Here toBeyond, Not Here Not Now and Intricacy receive radio airplay in Canada and around the world on internet jazz stations. The latter recording was nominated in the Outstanding Jazz Recording category at the Western Canadian Music Awards.
